A Course Tour of 45 Spectacular Holes of Golf

View each of our 45 spectacular holes courtesy of the course flyovers of each hole below, allowing you to gain a true sense of what each of our courses has to offer.

The Beach Course and Creek courses are both ranked in Australian Golf Digest’s Top 100 courses in Australia with the Beach Course being ranked No. 32 for the last 3 years in a row. The Beach Course is a true links style course, designed by Tony Cashmore. It arguably offers the best collection of Par 3’s in Australia. Our Creek Course, is a parkland layout and is co-designed by golfing great Sir Nick Faldo (6 time Major Champion) and Tony Cashmore. Our 9 hole Short Course, also designed by Tony Cashmore, is the newest addition to our offering and provides a genuine golfing challenge for those who want to sharpen their short game or have a quick round.

In 2020, we commenced the Course Improvement Program following the engagement of Course Design Consultant, Darius Oliver. Darius has been involved in designing several golf courses in Australia and New Zealand, most notably as co-designer of Cape Wickam Links on King Island, TAS and he is currently working on a spectacular cliff-top golf course on Kangaroo Island, SA. The primary purpose of the Course Improvement Program is to improve access, maintenance, drainage, playability and conditioning of the bunkers and a rationalisation of the number of bunkers.

In addition, and in parallel with the changes to bunkering, some re-design changes are being made consistent with the design and aesthetic intent of the original architects. These changes are designed to aid maintenance and to ensure that both the Beach and Creek Courses are challenging but also make golf at Thirteenth Beach enjoyable and fun for all. All of the works have been carried out by our magnificent greens keeping staff led by our Course Superintendent Steve Hewitt (with minimal disruption to play) under the watchful eye of Darius. This program will continue well into 2024 and we hope you enjoy the wonderful golf that is Thirteenth Beach.

The first of the two courses, The Beach Course was opened in December 2001 and designed by Tony Cashmore. The challenging and natural links style course has received many high accolades. In 2021, it was ranked by Golf Australia as No. 7 of Public Access Courses in Australia & No. 3 for the mainland.
The Creek Course designed by Cashmore in conjunction with 6 time major championship winner Sir Nick Faldo, is a wonderful complement to The Beach Course. The Creek Course was ranked #26 of Public Access Courses in Australia, #22 for mainland Australia and is regularly compared to some of Melbourne’s best Sandbelt courses.

The Short Course. Comprising 9 holes with multiple tees ranging from 105 metres to 188 metres and a gentle walk, it is suitable for all levels of golfers

Both of 13th Beach’s two Championships golf courses regularly appear in various publications’ Top 100 Australian course rankings.
